Bill Mitchell Fine Art
Artist 1993 - present
My early work was focused on painting, printing and mixed
media. For about 10 years I showed in galleries and spaces in
Chicago and Milwaukee. My creative work transitioned from
fine art to landscape design, a discipline that was incredibly
rewarding. Returning to fine art, my work is exploring
environmental art. Using objects found in nature I create site
specific installations exploring the relationship between
technology and nature. The works should be experienced in
person, but given the ephemeral nature of them, photo
documentation of the installation is employed to document and
develop mixed media works.
